Project Description:
Design and construction of a new civic square in Merrylands CBD. Works involve design development from concept to construction, site remediation, installation of Stratavault, new multi-function poles, , new paving, lighting and landscaping paved ephemeral creek, new water feature, twelve bespoke canopy structures incorporating indigenous artwork, stone boulders incorporating indigenous artwork, raised lawn with concrete surround incorporating art from a local artist, paving engraved with a local artist’s impressions of the words “clay”, “water” and “flour” in 16 different languages.
